The property was warm and cosy. It may look old from the outside but has been extensively modernised on the inside and has everything you need for a pleasant stay and more. We loved our stay and if we get back to Goolwa we will definitely stay there again

Brand new kitchen and bathroom are high-end finish. I have never seen such a clean place before! Close to shops and the River. Great entertainments are available on TV. There is a hammock, really good BBQ, beautiful garden. Even you stay with friends, there are so many separate spaces to spend your time without being disturbed by others. Love to come back and stay at this cottage again!!!!

Magnificent property. If you want to cook, it seemed to have every utensil you would need. Location is great - there is really no need to worry about safety in Goolwa, but if you are concerned, going into town is a 5 min or so walk via main road. You are very close to the Goolwa river (5 or so mins walking), for a walk, or if you want to catch the cockle train (worth a stop at Pt Elliot and a walk along horseshoe bay) or do the Sprit of the Coorong (all day one gives lots of info, close up view of the mouth, seals, pelicans) as they both leave from there. Lots of places don't do dinner, so booking in to the hotel (Corio or Goolwa hotel) is good for a pub meal (don't leave it too late, the kitchen closes by 8). The host was very easily contactable during the stay.
